Julian Echeverry LMFT
Director
Julian Echeverry is a marriage and family therapist (MT2198) and psychotherapist. Julian has more than 20 years of experience in the mental health field. He is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and he is a clinical supervisor approved by the state of Florida Department of Health.
Julian earned his bachelor degree in Psychology in 1988 and master degree in sociology in 1994 at the Del Valle University in Colombia. Between 1991 and 1997 he was an associate professor at the Javeriana University in Colombia.
In 2002, Julian received a master degree in counseling, and a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Stetson University in Deland, Florida. Julian established his private practice, Anthropos Fl mental Health and Family Therapy Center in 2007 in order to help adults, adolescents, children, and families in central Florida.
Julian helps individuals with a variety of mental health and emotional difficulties such as depression, anxiety, mood and bipolar disorders, trauma, ADHD, behavioral disorders, and other mental health difficulties. He also works with couples and families experiencing conflict and crisis.
Julian utilizes family system theory and psychodynamic theory techniques to help clients comprehend and change repetitive maladaptive patterns that cause discontent and stress. Along with these approaches Julian uses an integrative model of experiential, solution focus, brief therapy, trauma focused, and cognitive behavioral interventions, according to the specific clients' needs.
Julian lives in Central Florida with his wife and four children. As a family they enjoy outside activities such as riding bikes, camping and going to the beach.
Victoria Echeverry-Navia LCSW
Therapist
Victoria is a License Social Worker SW14357 with 6 years of experience in mental health. She is a member of the NASW since 2014. Graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor en Psychology and a Master degree in Social Work. Victoria provides counseling services to children and adolescents in the public system schools of Orange and Seminole County and individual therapy to adults in our office.
She is fully bilingual and her previous work experience includes working with many diverse population in terms of cultural, social and ethnic backgrounds.
Victoria enjoys being outdoor, she loves to travel and spend time with her husband, family and friends.
